The leading reverse mortgage lending company American Advisors Group (AAG) this month announced the addition of two new strategic positions: Quinton Chapman will serve as the company’s senior vice president of operations, while Christina Laris will serve as the new compliance officer. Both appointments are set to meet AAG’s priorities for growth and expansion plans for 2022, according to company communications.

Chapman most recently served as Vice President of Operations at Genesis Financial Solutions. Previously he served as Vice President and National Director of Mortgage Processing, Closing, and Fulfillment for Fifth Third Bank Private Bank and is a Six Sigma Black Belt and LEAN Certified for Business Process Improvement, having served as Master Black Belt Mortgage Services at PHH Mortgage Company . He came to AAG as a proven competency expert, according to the company’s new president.

“Quinton is exactly the kind of customer-centric, results-oriented leader we need with extensive experience in operations and process improvement across the financial services industry,” said Ed Robinson, newly appointed president and chief operating officer of AAG. “It’s also culturally appropriate with a mindset of continuous improvement.”

In Larries’ case, she previously served as Head of Real Estate Services for Business Risk and Controls at USAA. She joins AAG with over 20 years of experience as a financial services executive, and has worked as an in-house legal advisor to consumer financial services firms and banks, focusing on lending and mortgage financial services, secondary market transactions, corporate governance and customer services.

“Christina provides the operational expertise we need to raise our compliance requirements,” said Rick Lieber, AAG’s chief risk officer. “As we continue to thrive and expand, our company’s imperatives grow too, and this move ensures that we keep our standards on par. We are excited to bring Christina on board and look forward to seeing her plans come to fruition.”

AAG’s growth and expansion plans also include Robinson, who was first appointed as the company’s acting president and chief operating officer last summer. Most recently, Robinson served as COO of Genesis Financial Solutions, a provider of non-core consumer finance based in Beaverton, Oregon. Prior to his career in mortgage, Robinson served in the United States Army.

Recently, AAG also highlighted a new marketing initiative with a dedicated website.
