Arsenal and Middlesbrough have agreed a deal for Volaren Balogun to spend the rest of the season at Riverside.
The England Under-21 national team striker is set to arrive in Middlesbrough this week to complete a short-term loan switch once he emerges from Covid isolation, becoming Middlesbrough’s second signing of the window.
Sportsmail understands that the two clubs have reached an agreement on the terms of the direct loan deal including the Championship side agreeing to cover a portion of Balogun’s wages.
