The Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Monsters are excited to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and their allies with back-to-back Pride Nights this weekend at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Throughout the weekend, the massive outdoor curtain wall of Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse will be lit with colorful rainbow shades in appreciation of the LGBTQ+ community.
“As an organization, we strive to be authentically present and engaged in all of our local communities, and the annual Pride Night is a time when we can honor the voices, hard work, and accomplishments of the LBGTQ+ community,” said Kevin Clayton, vice president for diversity, inclusion and community engagement at the Cleveland Cavaliers. “Although a lot of hard work has been put into making Pride Nights possible, it is more than just one night. We are very proud to work alongside our wonderful LGBTQ+ partners to continue to drive the needle towards inclusivity for all.”

3rd Annual Cleveland Cavaliers Pride Night

The Cavaliers will host Pride Night on Saturday, January 22 at 8:00 p.m. opposite the Oklahoma City Thunder:

Cleveland Charge’s 1st Annual Pride Night
Cleveland charge, Submitted by Cleveland Clinic, also celebrated its first annual Pride Night at Cleveland State University’s Wallstein Center on Tuesday, January 11th, opposite the Windy City Bulls.

The Charge claimed a 103-94 victory on court, while members of the local LGBTQ+ community out of court were given the opportunity to promote their programming and resources throughout the game. Charge players also wore Pride shooting T-shirts, which were auctioned in support of the local LGBTQ+ nonprofit.
Pride Night is part of the Rock Entertainment Group’s comprehensive and ongoing commitment to maintaining and promoting an inclusive environment that welcomes everyone.
