Manchester City striker Jack Grealish sent a message to Axel Tuanzebe after he completed his loan at Manchester United to Napoli.

The 24-year-old moves to Serie A for the rest of the season after finding first-team opportunities at Aston Villa restricted under new coach Steven Gerrard.

Having made nine appearances under Dean Smith this season, as well as a productive stint three years ago, the former Liverpool captain gave Tuanzebe just eight minutes.

Tuanzebe marked his move by posting on Instagram, to which Grealish quickly responded.

Grealish wrote “Good luck, brother” with a compliment emoji and a red heart.

Tuanzebe and Grealish enjoyed two spells together at Aston Villa, cutting off the first loan spell at Villa before returning the following year to help Aston Villa advance to the Premier League through play-off matches.

Angel Gomez also added his best wishes to the defender.

Tuanzebe is the third Reds Academy graduate to move on loan in January after Tiden Menge signed for Birmingham City and replaced Ethan Laird with Swansea Bournemouth.
