Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing PSG left-back Levin Kurzawa on loan.
The Blues will be looking to work in the January transfer window this month in order to sign a new player to serve at left-back for the remainder of the season.
With Ben Chilwell recovering from the ACL injury he suffered against Juventus in November, Marcos Alonso is the club’s only acknowledged option in this role.
According to Sky Sports NewsChelsea are believed to be interested in signing the defender on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
He is said to be a non-favorite in the Ligue 1 giants, having played just nine minutes of first-team football this season.
The 29-year-old joined Paris Saint-Germain from his French colleague Monaco at the beginning of the 15/16 season, and since then he has participated in 153 matches in all competitions, scoring 14 goals and making 23.
His last start for the club came in May 2021 with a 1-1 draw against Rennes, where he played 55 minutes and received a crucial pass.
Since the transfer window opened in January, Chelsea have been rumored to be interested in recalling Emerson from his loan spell at Lyon.
But despite offering a “favorable financial package”, their manager assured that he would do so Stay in the French League until the end of the season.
The Blues have also been linked with Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic and Ajax’s Nicholas Tagliafico as they look to sign Alonso’s backup.
